After 2 years of media partnership and ongoing successful business transactions, AFWL and EPG Media have concluded a monumental partnership deal in the United Kingdom for AFWL 2019 that has already begun enhancing the existing brand, opening it up to a wider demographic and introducing a number of exciting additions to the already successful platform.
As Europes largest and longest running, culturally diverse fashion and trade exhibition based in the UK, the event has celebrated many firsts. In 2012 it hosted more than 20,000 attendees in East London celebrating African fashion and the event has championed diversity, sustainability and ethical fashion over an 8 year life span. Now in its 9th year this years event held over two days on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th of August 2019, has been redesigned to offer something for established and aspiring designers including a Luxury African Boutique and an African style market Souk a number of fashion shows including a Charity Celebrity fashion show in collaboration with the Nelson Mandela Childrens Fund UK and a mini concert with a host of top Music artists from Africa, UK, USA.
An insider revealed yesterday, Africa is a wholistic environment and this will be represented this year as we help to showcase our culture in a fully immersive cultural experience with fashion, food, theatre and music.
